EuroSLA annually publishes a selection of papers from its Annual Conference. Papers presented at either of the previous two years’ conferences are eligible for submission. Until 2016, this was in the form of the EuroSLA Yearbook series, which from 2017 was replaced by the Journal of the European Second Language Association (JESLA). Starting with the 2019 issue, JESLA will publish the best work by EUROSLA members, irrespective of whether the work was presented at the annual conference. Submissions are accepted from all EUROSLA members of good standing – i.e. current members who have attended at least one EUROSLA conference in the last three years. The submitted papers may draw on the work presented at the conference, but could also be new work not previously showcased at EUROSLA. Submission guidelines can be found here.
An annual prize is awarded for the best contribution.
The journal editor of JESLA is Sarah Liszka (University of Greenwich), supported by the editor-in-chief, Danijela Trenkic (University of York), and published Open Access by White Rose University Press, an Open Access publisher supported by the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. The Editorial Board Members can be found here.
