A- discusses a current issue in the field of SLA
B- presents evidence of theoretically motivated and original SLA research
C- clearly states the problem and proposes a solution
D- demonstrates that the chosen theoretical approach and research methodology adequately address the problem under investigation
E- points to broader theoretical implications.

Scale
5- perfectly acceptable. The paper fully satisfies all criteria.
4- rather acceptable. The paper fully satisfies some criteria and closly satisfies the others.
3- satisfactory. The paper closely satisfies all criteria. It is adequate, but not preferential for inclusion in the conference.
2- rather unacceptable. The paper partially satisfies some criteria, but does not satisfy the others.
1- unacceptable. The paper does not satisfy any criteria. It should definitly be excluded.
