How to write a (really) good conference abstract
Dear EuroSLA member,
EuroSLA is holding a free social webinar for Early Career Researchers on December 9, 2022 at 1000-1130 UK time (click link to convert to your local time). This will be a chance for ECRs (which includes, of course, post-grad students) to catch up at the end of the year, make some new connections with other SLA researchers at a similar stage, and we’ll have some EuroSLA committee members around for a brief discussion of how to write a really good conference abstract. If you attended the previous abstract writing webinar in January some of the ground we cover will be familiar, and some will be new, but hopefully it will all be useful for getting your work accepted to EuroSLA and other conferences.
We are hoping to make this as accessible as possible for our ECRs by keeping it online, free, and at a timeslot that hopefully works for as many as possible. We encourage any member who considers themselves to be an ECR to attend, and for more experienced researchers to share this call with early career SLA researchers who may not already be connected to our EuroSLA family to try to rope them in!
The zoom link is below. Please register here so we have a rough idea how many to expect.

We’re hoping this will be a great end to the academic term, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon – ECRs at this webinar, and everyone together in Birmingham in August 2023.
Happy holidays!
