Getting to Stockholm
There are three airports close to Stockholm: Arlanda Airport, Skavsta Airport and Bromma Airport.
Getting from Arlanda Airport to the city centre
The Airport coach Flygbussarna to the Central station takes about 35 minutes, and the price is SEK 110 (single ticket). Cash payments cannot be made on board the buses, credit card is ok. Tickets may be bought on-line before your trip or in information desks at Arlanda Airport.
The Train service Arlanda Express to the Central Station takes about 20 minutes, and the price is SEK 240. Tickets are sold in ticket machines at Arlanda Airport. Please note that tickets bought on board the train will cost an additional 50 SEK.
Taxis can be found just outside the airport terminals. If you want to go straight to the conference venue, you can use the address: Svante Arrhenius väg 18, Stockholm University. Price: approximately SEK 500.
Getting from Skavsta Airport to the city centre
The Airport coach Flygbussarna to the Central Station takes about 80 minutes, and the price is SEK 150. Tickets may be bought on-line before your trip or at the airport terminal.
Getting from Bromma Airport to the city centre
The Airport coach Flygbussarna to the Central station takes about 20 minutes, and the price is 79 SEK (single ticket).
Getting to the conference venue
Underground
Adjacent to the Central Station is the underground station T-Centralen (a big T is the underground symbol in Stockholm). All three underground lines (red, green, blue) cross each other here. Take the red line train to Mörby Centrum. Get off at the Universitetet station. Travel time from T-Centralen to Universitetet is about 10 minutes.
Tickets cannot be bought at the gates or on the buses. Single tickets and transportation passes may be bought at the kiosks called Pressbyrån, which are always close to the underground stations.
Bus
Bus 40 and 70 also go to Universitetet. There is a bus stop at
the Odenplan undergound station (as well as other places). Get off at Universitetet Norra.
