I am pleased to publish a new issue of The Clarion, issue 9. In this issue, we have the possiblity to read about the IRIS project, here presented by Emma Marsden and Alison Mackey. Then, Laura Sánchez shares with us her impressions of this year's conference, Eurosla 22, in Poznan. Next year's conference will take place in Amsterdam in the end of August. In this issue, Ineke Vedder tells us a bit more about the conference and the city of Amsterdam. This year, the journal AILE was digitalized. Monique Lambert tells us more about this, and AILE's descendant, LIA. Finally, Jean-Marc Dewaele writes about a dear friend and colleague, Abdi Kazeroni, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his death.
